The Best Fit for Your Donation   

The following types of funds offer a wide selection of donation opportunities.  Whether you wish to support one of the Foundation’s existing funds or establish your own fund, you will be joining many other donors who have a desire to make a difference in our community – forever!  Funds may be named and are suitable for individuals, families, memorials, organizations, or businesses.   

• Community Endowment Fund - the income from this fund is provided to local organizations to address current and future needs.  This fund is the ideal way for individuals, groups and businesses to make a difference.
• Family Fund - this fund gives donors the opportunity to help our community and at the same time be acknowledged and recognized.  Individuals and businesses making a donation of $5,000 or more - or whose cumulative donations total $5,000 or more - automatically get a fund set up in their own name, business name, or in the name of someone they wish to honor. Family funds can be added to at any time by the original donor or by others, such as family members, friends or employees. These investment funds also grow as a subset of the total endowment and the Family Funds are usually recognized on our Annual Report.  
• Agency Fund - this is a type of designated fund established by charitable organizations to ensure a continual source of annual income for their programs and operations. 
• Donor Advised Fund - this funds allow donors to be actively involved with the Foundation in selecting recipient charitable organizations.
• Scholarship or Bursary Fund - a fund can be established to honor a loved one, in the name of a family, an individual, business or organization in order to help deserving individuals obtain education or training. 

Sustaining Partners 

Our Sustaining Partners support the work of the Foundation by contributing operating funds.  We greatly appreciate their support which then allow all of the community donations we receive to go directly to the endowment fund.  Sustaining Partners are recognized in all our promotional activities – our annual “Report to Community”, events, our website, and marketing with our local media partner, the Quesnel Cariboo Observer.

Supporting our Community Report

We encourage local businesses to support our annual Community Report through cash donations.  Please email quesnelcommunityfoundation@gmail.com to place an ad.

Platinum level ($1000) - your business name and logo across the bottom of a page - 1 inch high, width of page.

Gold donor level ($500) - your business name and logo will be featured prominently in the annual Community Report

Silver donor level ($250) - your business name will be featured prominently in the annual Community Report
