The Quesnel Community Foundation is advised and assisted by the Vancouver Foundation, the largest Foundation in Canada. It serves all of British Columbia, and distributes millions in grants each year. You may wish to consider applying for a grant from the Vancouver Foundation as well as the QCF.

CFC supports and promotes the fund development, grantmaking and leadership of community foundations. Its four key goals are to:

1. Provide support for established and emerging member foundations
2. Promote the community foundation movement
3. Demonstrate philanthropic leadership in Canada and internationally
4. Build CFC's own effectiveness and efficiency

CFC offers professional development and training opportunities to its members, provides communication links and acts as an information clearinghouse, facilitates partnerships and initiatives with national and regional funders, reflects member views and concerns on philanthropic issues, and promotes sound public policy
